Alcohol We Drink Increases The Risk Of Cancer

If you love white wine, then this message would not like it. The survey, made scientists from American University Braun, shows that eating just one small glass of wine a day can increase the risk of developing melanoma by 13%!

Melanoma is a malignant tumor, and begins with cancer cells that stain the skin. Human skin already has moles, which can very easily develop this melanoma, which is much less frequent than other types of skin cancer, but deadly.

It has long known that the incidence of skin cancer associated with excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays, but the results of this US study has surprised scientists.

- We were surprised to realize that white wine is the only drink, which is associated with an increased risk of melanoma. The reason so far is not yet known, but studies have shown that some types of white wines have higher levels of acetaldehyde of red wine, beer or liquor.
">Although black and white wine contain a similar amount of acetaldehyde, polyphenols or antioxidants found in red wine, seems to neutralize the threat, says the explanation.During the study, researchers analyzed data from three major studies that involved 210,252 adults. Subjects were asked to complete a questionnaire about their diet, the amount and type of alcohol consumed. Obtained results that the standard drink contains 12.8 grams of alcohol, while participants in the study were followed within 18 years. A unit of alcohol is defined as 8 grams of pure alcohol.

Team notched up another unusual conclusion. Namely, the melanomas that developed the parts of the body that are less exposed to ultraviolet rays, often associated with the consumption of white wine.
">For example, an adult who daily body funneled at least 20 grams of alcohol was 73% greater risk of developing melanoma, stomach, and danger of melanoma of the head, neck and limbs amounted to only 2%.Moderate consumption of alcohol, has featured in danger of developing other diseases such as heart disease.- Risks and strengths of alcohol consumption should be considered individually. It is necessary to carry out further research to fully clarify the connection with the development of melanoma and drinking white wine, melanoma but in any case should be entered in the list of cancers linked to alcohol.
