One bundle of Ramen noodles contains 1580 mg of sodium and 14 grams of fat.

6.   PROCESSED MEAT
Most heart –related problems are caused by consuming meat products like wieners, bacon, frankfurter, and bologna.  To avoid high blood pressure and keep the heart healthy,  avoid processed meats and consume low-salt meat like turkey bosom, incline hamburger, and chicken.

7.   RED MEAT
Limit the consumption of junk food and trans-fat based foods like red meat as they are associated with impairment of veins performance and heart problems.

8.   CANNED CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
Although canned chicken noodle soup is very convenient for those who are pressed for time, it contains staggering amounts of sodium! As a matter of fact, only a serving of this soup contains 800 mg of sodium.

9.   PICKLES
Judging by its low calorie content, no one would think that pickles are high in sodium. However, a medium-sized pickle contains 570 mg of sodium, which is 1/3 more of the allowed daily intake.
10.               MARGARINE
Although margarine is widely used in our day-to-day eating routines, the truth that it`s one of the unhealthiest ingredients. Given that it requires high temperature to be prepared in its final form, it is packed with aluminum, platinum, and nickel.
11.               SUGAR
Sugar, particularly the artificial one, is associated with hypertension and severe heart-related problems.

12.               CANNED BISCUITS
Canned biscuits are excessively seasoned and packed with processed substances. When buying biscuits, check the ingredients listed on the label and don’t forget the sodium content.

13.               DOUGHNUTS
While being very tasty, doughnuts also come with a lot of calories and fat. In fact, only one doughnut contains 200 calories and 12 grams of fat.


14.               POP
According to a study done by the America Heart Association,   sodas and fuzzy drinks are loaded with artificial sugar, which is one of the major culprits for hypertension.

15.               LIQUOR
Many studies have drawn the same conclusion: alcohol reduces blood supply levels! According to a research in South Korea, liquor is one the main causes of hypertension.


SUBSTANCES THAT HELP LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE

Fiber-dense foods help lower blood pressure.  Some of the best things you can consume include beans, peas, veggies, grain oats, pasta, and rice.  All of them are abundant in vitamins and minerals and also make you feel longer for an extended period of time.
HERBS AND SPICES
Instead of salt, add healthy herbs t your dishes, such as basic, thyme, oregano, sage, and rosemary.

NATURAL PRODUCTS AND VEGGIES
Foods high in potassium help lower sodium levels and thus protect you from hypertension. It is recommended to consume more spinach, lima beans, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, bananas, and oranges.
